EEEKKKK! The Easter Buuny!!

hee hee! bean was SO not into The Easter Bunny.
Well from afar, she was totally digging him!
"Hi Easter Bunny!"

Wait! Let me back up.
We hadn't planned on visiting The Easter Bunny (hence the girls are not in matching Easter attire!)
But there was no line and I jumped on the opp'ty.
Katelyn was wishy washy. Yes I do. No I don't!
I said ok Emily is going too.
and Katelyn yells "No not Baby Emily!"
like she was protecting her little sister from the Easter Bunny.
so cute!

I asked Bean if she wanted Mommy to sit with her and she was Yes.
And then this is what we got.

it's st patrick's day LOL!
nothing special today..just some cute photos of my girls :)
i had high hopes of making a special green treat or maybe a little craft something with katelyn for her to take to her friends at daycare....but didn't get around to doing it.

emily {2} months

at 2 months...
size 1 diapers
newborn clothing getting a bit snug and short in the legs and sleeves
3 month clothing a little big
still has gray blue eyes
LOVES to eat
= rolly poly thighs and a double chin :)
has a great set of lungs!!!
LOVES her mama
as in
i want my mama to hold me all day long
and i want to sleep snug as a bug right next to her!
i guess i shouldn't complain.
in a blink she is going to be off and running
and want nothing to do with me, right?

grandma lovin'

my girls are so lucky to have such loving family in their lives and close by. and soon we will be even closer!!
i love it when my mom stops by for lunch, especially if i haven't been able to take a shower that day!
my mom totally pitched in when i went into labor and when emily was in the hospital (both times!) it gave me such piece of mind to know that bean was in good hands!
i probably don't say it enough....but i love you, mom!!

sweet sisters

oh how i love these girls! so sweet!
bean is so good with her baby sister.
always wanting to hold her.
and even take pictures with her!
bean helps mommy by getting diapers and stuff.
such a great big sister.

emily {1} month

well...i am not off to a good start.
if you remember i documented katelyn's monthly birthdays til she turned one.
i plan to do the same for lil emily.
but i am already late!
but we have a good reason.
well, it isn't "good"
emily was in the hospital since Wed with RSV.
poor little girl!
but she got to come home on the 20th- her 1 month birthday!
but momma was too too too tired to blog.

trying to get caught up.
a lot falls by the wayside when you spend 4 days in the hospital!

so...
at 1 month
emily...
weighs 8 lbs 13 oz
length 21 inches
has been admitted to the hospital twice :(
her eye color has not changed from the deep gray/blue color
getting more hair but it is still a light brown
wearing size 1 diapers (not newborn)
not into the binkie like her big sister
likes to eat
likes the swing
likes to cuddle with momma
sleeps in 2-3 hour intervals which makes for very tired parents!
has the BEST BIG SISTER!
is LOVED so so so very much!!

katelyn is just getting over a really icky cough and runny nose :( and now emily has it.
i hate it!
you feel so helpless.

you can definitely tell Emily is getting older.
she is staying awake for longer periods of time.
she is waking up 2-3 times at night.
she wasn't a very willing model when angela came over to play again the other day.
uh oh! is her big sister wearing off on her?
bean is NOT a fan of having her pic taken.
although she is more willing ever since i got the G11 and she can see herself getting her pic taken :)
