Happy Halloween! and a very special Happy Birthday to my Beautiful Friend, Tara!!!
Last weekend we visited Smith Family Farms in Brentwood and it a wonderful place! Lots of activities (hay ride, barn show, corn maze, teepees to explore, pumpkins to pick, hay maze....)

I am finally crawling out from under the piles and piles of "stuff" on the to-do list and The D Family Album is finally completed!!
Despite the high noon sun, I think I was able to capture some special moments between this sweet family.

we headed to The Fountain near The Bridges Golf Course in San Ramon, CA. Too bad the fountain was turned off! oh well, we still got some great photos!!

**finding a place to live- we put house hunting on hold. socking away all our pennies. i think we found a place to rent! the owner is letting us sign a 6 months lease so we can be ready to go when needed. but it is nice to know where we will be for at least the next 6 months!
**Christmas shopping. yep, i am about halfway done!
**so looking forward to our 3D Ultrasound on Saturday!! having fun shopping for Big Girl Bedding and furniture for Katelyn and nursery bedding for the new baby.
**it seems like i've been running and running since April when we put our house on the market. i am looking forward to taking time off for maternity leave!
Benn snuck in there when I was taking some product photos..more on that to come!

this past weekend we went to Perry's Pumpkin Patch. So happy to have it back after a break last year. the weather was beautiful and Bean had tons of fun jumping and skipping through the patch, climbing and jumping off the hay stack pyramid, poking her face through all the photo cutouts and picking out the perfect pumpkin.

Wow! It was a beautiful Fall Day after the Big Storm. I've been wanting to check out this park near a Horse Stable (I really want to shoot at the Horse Stable!) But I thought the park next to the stable would be a good starting point :)
I shot all these with my 85mm 1.8. I was tempted to leave on my 24-70mm L that I luvre! But I was inspired that [b]ecker shot mostly with his 50 1.2.
Anyway...here are some shots of Bean...I luvre her!!!

i am nervous and excited to share these with you...
this was my first wedding. i second shot with angela chandler.
i just tried to stay out of her way
and capture a different emotion and angle.
i am not thinking of becoming a wedding photographer.
it would be too much with a full time job, a 2 yr old, a photography side job and a baby on the way!
could you imagine???
but i sure did have fun
and would do it again :)
the wedding ceremony took place at pulgas water temple.
oh i could have stayed there for hours shooting!
such beautiful surroundings!
