:)&:(

aka Smiles and Frowns

:) Food Show was successful!
:( Lots of follow up to be done.
:) Earned BIG business back. They temporarily went with the competition. Learned their lesson and are back now.
:( They filed for bankruptcy (although they are being bought out by their parent company or something like that so it is business as usual.)
:) Sun is shining and no rain.
:( It is butt-cold!!!
:( Baby Bean is developing quite the 'tude and spending quite some time in the "Think About It Corner."
:) But is a crack up otherwise, especially when she screams and then shushes herself.
:( Things have been really busy these past couple of weeks. I miss crafty stuff. The house is a wreck. I am tired.
:) I am learning how to make aprons! I bought a book with the intention of making all my friend's aprons this past Christmas, but ended up buying them from Etsy. No, I didn't try to pass them off as hand made by me~ LOL!! I can't wait to dive in! I will for sure post pics of my finished product!

And what's a post without a pic??
Due to TO's recent firing, this photo ran in the Sacramento Bee.

That has got to be the WORST photo of me! Yea, good thing it is printed on a Football Card!! It was a rain game and we were in our sweats. My hair was all wet. I look like a crazy woman!

pre-sneak peek for the Sardelich's | Bay Area Maternity Photographer

This is from a Maternity Session this past weekend...it is one of my faves.
I've been super busy with the Food Show, so I haven't finished editing this session or even started on the Newborn Shoot from last weekend! I have 2 more this weekend, too!
But just had to share this photo...one of my faves!!

More to come soon!!!

I {heart} my friends!!

We had so much fun hangin' out at Beisel's. When we all started having kids, we changed our monthly Friday dinners to Saturday playdates :)We missed Em and Caleb!
She made us yummy chicken noodle soup! and the kiddos watched Ratatouille.

Ryder (7 mos) and Katelyn (18 mos.)...He is bigger than my lil peanut!!

Angela and Ryder

Kristin *Beisel* with Ryder. Love his lil smirk. It says "Yah. The chicks dig me!"

It was so cute...Beisel was sitting against the wall as we were all chit chattin' and Katelyn went over and sat beside her.

Nicole *Dupler*, Beisel and Baby Bean

I had 2 photo sessions this weekend...1 newborn and 1 maternity. I can't wait to share them!! i already started editing- trying to get a jump start because I have a busy week ahead of me with the Food Show and then 3 more more shoots next weekend.

We've got some major changes ahead of us...all good stuff! But I don't do so well with change. We are trying to get all the last minute House To-Do stuff complete: closet doors, shower door, touch up paint, lay sod, organize and purge!! Spring Cleaning time!!

So Much Love

Yesterday was my Grandmother's Service and there was such LOVE in the room! She/We are so lucky to be surrounded by all that LOVE! The turn out was more than any of us expected. I love the way our family comes together. There is nothing we like more than hanging out together, enjoying each other's company, eating and drinking (yes, there was a bottle of tequila involved! I stayed away from that!!)
I truly appreciate all the emails, calls, texts, FB and Blog comments.
A special Thank You to my bestest girlfriends, Kristin and Emily for being there. It was so nice having your smiling faces there to comfort me. The flowers were very pretty. And to Tara for sending a beautiful bouquet.
I am so proud of my lil cousins, Jessica and Jaky for speaking. Mom too! I didn't think I would be able to get through my speech. And lil Ashley, I know Grandma heard you.

{Celebrating Betty}

My grandmother passed away on Sunday. Although I know she is in a better place, a place where she has no pain, a place where she knows who she is, I miss her. I've missed her for quite some time. These past few years, especially the past 6 months since she was in the nursery home, Alzheimer's took the Grandmother I know. So I've missed her for quite some time. I am so lucky to have grown up with her so present in my life and to be with her as she took her final breath.

Will Power vs. McDonalds

I so wanted the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Biscuit Zack brought home for me from McDonald's!! But I held strong and resisted! I didn't even take a nibble of Katelyn's hash brown. Instead I went to the gym and it felt good. I would like to lose 10-15 lbs. by June when we have the Beach House for a week again!! I am going to have to watch what I eat and hit the gym consistently. I've been feeling pretty dumpy, noticing my pants are fitting a bit tighter. Work has been crazy making it harder to fit in time at the gym. But I find that it de-stresses me...so I need it! Wish me luck!!

Here are some silly and cute photos of Baby Bean...
Showing off her "shushing" skills. She will scream and then shush herself.

Givin' Sophie some lovin'!!

Went spent the day at Beisel's visiting with all the Aunties and Ryder...stay tuned for those pics :)
