sweet treats

a little sweet treat for Bean to take to daycare and share with her friends.
the "flowers" are red heart lollipops that i covered with a patterned paper scallop punch and photo of Bean. the back side is also covered with a patterned paper scallop punch and a punch heart that says "be mine. love katelyn"
the flower pot is covered with some old KI memories pp i had laying around and embellished with a layered flower.
i filled the pot with Oasis (that green styrofoam like stuff) and covered with the pink paper shreds.
easy peasy and cute!!
i also picked up some fun heart sprinkles to make a BIG cookie cake- yum!!




and for my photog friends....i've been playing alot with all my actions when post processing my family snapshots. trying to find out which ones i like. i also added a fun Florabella texture to these photos. just for the fun of it!

yes, i am FINALLY getting around to blogging these pics.
the AZ Lunds were scheduled to come visit Valentine's Weekend in the hopes that Emily would have been born by then. When they found out she made her arrival early, they changed their plans and came out that weekend! so exciting!
love visiting with them!
love seeing uncle joey, uncle tony and aunt kim too!
love the easiness of it.
love the way the kiddos play so well together.
love the memories they/we are creating.
love the snacks and yummy food!
love how tayde and i are always snapping away, not wanting to miss a moment!

so so so very sad they will most likely be moving to the other side of the country. but looking forward to an east coast visit and CANCUN 2011 BABY!!!

april lovin' on emily. she couldn't get enough of her! april drive down on Tues when i went into labor and helped out tremendously with bean, shopping and house chores. and then again on Wed to meet Emily. we are so lucky!

you can definitely tell Emily is getting older.
she is staying awake for longer periods of time.
she is waking up 2-3 times at night.
she wasn't a very willing model when angela came over to play again the other day.
uh oh! is her big sister wearing off on her?
bean is NOT a fan of having her pic taken.
although she is more willing ever since i got the G11 and she can see herself getting her pic taken :)
