Halloween Spooktacular!!
wow! what a fun Halloween Season this has been!
I hope you are ready for some photos!!!
Thursday I did a dress rehearsal with Bean in her Pumpkin costume...and oh my cuteness! We even walked up and down the street practicing our "trick or treat"ing! She was adorable, but wasn't into me taking photos- go figure!
We came home and decorated cookie pops. Katelyn was more interested in eating the candy corn pumpkins! We took a big platter to day care for her to share with her friends. She came home with LOTS of treats including one of my faves...remember those store bought sugar cookies they used to give out at school parties with that really sugary juice??? Yummo!
Papa, Nanny, Katelyn and I met up with Zack at Premier Pizza for dinner on Friday night- Yummo!! too bad i filled up on their salad bar and didn't even eat pizza!
Then we headed to the Ghost House. Bean was unsure of the games at first and definitely did not like the witch with the BIG furry spider on her hand! But she warmed up and we played every game 3-4 times! I think her favorite was the lollipop game (always had been my fave too!) and she even won a really BIG colorful sucker! She actually was more into the tiny lollipops which made mommy happy.
Believe it or not, I was still stuffed from my salad that i didn't even get a caramel apple- a yearly tradition!
Daddy taught KAtelyn how to give "bumps." Instead of "blowing it up" (hitting fists and then opening your hand) Bean blows on your hand...literally! It is quite funny and adorable!!
Just some silly Friday morning faces!
On Saturday we lounged around in the morning, watching the fog and squirrels out the window. We had our 3D Ultrasound appointment today. Wow! It so awesome to get to "meet" our new lil one! The tech confirmed it was a girl. I was turned on my side away from Zack so I couldn't see his reaction. He was really holding out hope for a little boy. Anyway, I need to check to see when we had our 3D US with Katelyn. We were comparing the two and they definitely look like one another...mostly looking like their Daddy! We got see tiny toes and fingers and the mouth and eyes closing and opening. She liked to have her hands near her face and she was also holding onto the umbilical cord. So precious! Katelyn would say "baby" as she was looking at the TV but I am not sure if she got it. She was into playing with Grandma and Grandpa and the bucket full of Halloween goodies they brought :)
After a long nap (both Bean and I slept) we got ready to trick or treating! It was so fun watching Katelyn walk up to the doors. She didn't say "trick or treat" and "thank you" at the doors, but as we were walking away. There were a couple a scary doors with spooky music and flashing lights that she wanted nothing to do with, but she did visit a witch lady with a bunch of cats!
look at her eyes! she looks so scared! this wasn't even one of the "scary houses"! too funny
After filling her bucket up we came home to pass out candy.
talking to Dane
